How do I find out if my company falls under NIS2?

In the tool you enter your company size (employees, turnover), sector and the services you provide. Based on these you get a preliminary classification: essential entity, important entity, or out of the scope of GEO 155/2024.

What is the difference between an essential and an important entity?

Classification depends on the sector (high-criticality vs. other critical sectors) and on size. Essential entities face stricter obligations and supervision, with fines up to €10 million or 2% of turnover; important entities up to €7 million or 1.4%.

Is the tool's result official?

No. It is a preliminary, indicative assessment for information purposes, inspired by the logic of the official DNSC NIS2@RO Tool. It does not replace DNSC registration. For confirmation and the notification form, we offer an assisted assessment.
